Glock 22 round magazine 40 S&W is a composite steel and polymer fabrication. The Glock 40 caliber extended magazine is the “Happy Stick” for 40 S& W fans.   This is the largest capacity magazine made for Glock chambered in caliber .40 S&W.  The magazine holds 22 rounds. The Glock .40 extended mag encases a toughened and hardened steel insert in Polymer 2. As a result, this polymer makes the Glock Magazine incredibly durable.

Polymer 2 is more resilient than steel.   Consequently, this composite magazine assembly can withstand a lot of abuse and still continue functioning.  Especially relevant is that the Glock 22 round magazine 40 S&W will withstand visible damage or deformation after being dropped on solid floors from considerable height.

Due to this the Glock .40 extended mag is compatible with all Glock Gen 4 .40 semi-auto pistols.  Regardless of the magazine catch in left or right-handed configuration.
