Introducing the CAA Micro Roni MCK Gen1

The next generation of CAA Micro Roni has landed! CAA, USA has improved the previous generation Glock Carbine conversions into the ultimate kit. CAA refers to it as the Micro Conversion Kit, or simply MCK. After some serious and careful redesign, the new carbine conversion kit from CAA now fits Glock Generation 3, 4 and 5. Furthermore, the kit is compatible with both full-frame Glocks and compact frame. Previously a Glock 19 and Glock 17 could not use the same Roni carbine conversion. The new conversion kit fits the following Glocks: 17/18/19/22/23/31/32/as well as 19X and the new G45.

MCK Gen1 vs MCK Gen2

When comparing the MCK Gen1 vs MCK Gen2 there are some significant improvements. Of course, the Gen 2 is more expensive though. To read more about the CAA MCK Gen 2 go here. From a practical standpoint the Gen 1 is an exceptionally fine platform. Furthermore it offers great value for money. Consider the analogy of a Land Cruiser GX vs a VR. The VR is a bit more luxurious but all that front limited slip diff in the VR is going to do is get you really stuck.

New Colours available.

The CAA MCK is now available in FDE, White, Grey as well of course in black. Interestingly the tan or Flat Dark Earth (FDE) colour is a much closer match to the Glock 19X “Coyote” colour frame than the previous generation. The CAA Roni carbine conversion is built from a tough polymer; injection moulded around an aircraft-grade aluminum spine that supplies additional strength to the platform. You can purchase the following items individually from The Glock Shop to make your own custom Roni.
