Glock 26 + 2 magazine is a composite steel and polymer fabrication. The plus 2 mags add an additional 2 rounds capacity. More importantly for me though, is that the extra length makes the Glock 26 much easier to shoot. As a result of being a tad longer my whole hand can now grip the Glock 26’s but.

Encased in Polymer 2 is a toughened and hardened steel insert. This steel insert protects the magazine lips. Invented by Gaston Glock himself, Polymer 2 is a high strength nylon-based polymer. As a result, this polymer makes the Glock Magazine incredibly durable.

Polymer 2 is more resilient than steel. Consequently, this composite magazine assembly can withstand a lot of abuse and still continue functioning. Especially relevant is that the Glock magazine will withstand visible damage or deformation after being dropped on solid floors from serious height.
