Description
Glock 34 Gen 3
The Glock 34 Gen 3 is the successor of the G 34 ntroduced in 1998. It is as a competition ready, 9mm pistol. Designed to be the same overall length as the Government Model 1911 pistol the main differences between the full size Glock 17 and the long slide G 34 include a 5.32″ barrel for the 34 (0.82″ longer than the 17) with corresponding longer slide, extended magazine and slide releases and a reduced trigger pull. Naturally the longer slide results in a longer sight radius and a slightly better balance of the pistol. Resulting in quicker recovery between shots. These are also attributes that are desirable for tactical use as well. Glock refers to this model as the “Tactical/ Practical.”
Glock 34 gen 3 review
Our current G34Gen3 stock (November 2020) sells at R11 200.00 Now for one of the most popular pistols among IDPA competitors that is a phenomenal deal. If you’re looking for a good, full size tactical pistol you won’t do much better than the GLOCK 34. Competitor or not. The 34 is a big gun and as would be expected recoil is minimal, and recovery is quick shot to shot. The single recoil spring employs the guide rod system. Many serious shooters prefer this to the dual recoil system of the Gen4/5 G34’s.
