Description
The Glock 42 Magazine – calibre 9mm short – is a composite steel and polymer fabrication. The Glock magazine encases a toughened and hardened steel insert in Polymer 2. This steel insert protects the magazine lips. Invented by Gaston Glock himself, Polymer 2 is a high strength nylon-based polymer. As a result, this polymer makes the Glock Magazine incredibly durable.
Polymer 2 Toughness
Polymer 2 is more resilient than steel. Consequently, this composite magazine assembly can withstand a lot of abuse and still continue functioning. Especially relevant is that the Glock magazine will withstand visible damage or deformation after being dropped on solid floors from serious height.
Reliable Ammunition Feeding:
The Glock 42 magazine spring is made from selected and expertly heat treated steels. As a result of the accurately manufactured spring and follower, the Glock Magazine feeds ammunition with total reliability.
