Description

The long-awaited Glock 43X COA has finally arrived. September 2025.

So what exactly is the Aimpoint COA

The 43X certainly needs no introduction. A perfect fit for concealed carry. The compact size grip length and the minimal profile and a built in beaver tail.  The Glock 43X COA’s comfortable, balanced and versatile grip is suitable for a variety of users. The Aimpoint COA is a diminutive version of the larger AIMPOINT ACRO red dot sight. Exactly how was this done?   Easy. Change the mounting system.

The COA sight mounts directly to the A-Cut slide. Think of the new optic A-cut as a dovetail and the sight fits directly into. The A-cut integrates the COA red dot directly into the slide.  No mounting plates or screws.

The large CR2032 battery is now relocated to a bottom port rather than being accessed on the side like on the Aimpoint P-2.  Consequently, the battery relocation allowed Aimpoint to rid the sight of the secondary housing to cut down on size. It’s a simple update, but it’s worth its weight in gold for mass and profile reduction.

A Cut for Glock explainedNo Mounting Screws Required

Without using a mounting plate or screws, the new sight does away with a possible failure point from old mounting solutions. Lock the COA red dot  directly on the slide. Then simply place the rear iron sight into place to complete the “lockup”.

Maintains Zero like no previous system

The result is recoil force is equally distributed over the entire sight.  Not just the mounting screws. This eliminates sight movement within the Glock 43X COA platform and keeps the dot zeroed permanently.

The new A-cut also allows the sight to sit much lower against the gun, which allows you to index the iron sights. The iron sights are indexed and ready to go in a case of an emergency.  This redundancy is a sure confidence booster for professionals who depend on their sidearm. Blacked out iron sights keep the sight window uncluttered while shooting with the dot.

Pros: Compact carry system; enclosed-emitter sight; 50,000 hours of run time; clear glass; multiple brightness settings; ingenious mounting system; same size sight window as the ACRO P-2.

Cons: Expensive and hugely limited stock
