When to Replace Mag Springs
Extended capacity magazines like the 33 round and 24 round mags when left fully loaded for an extended period will require replacement. Replacement should be made if there are any feeding issues detected. Our advice to professionals is to change out mag springs every two years.

Pictured below are the three most common springs for 9mm/40 Smith Glocks. The can be identified either by which magazine they were removed from or counting the specific coils. Glock Magazine spring Coil counting can be a subjective exercise but generally their will be 9.10 or 11 coils depending on the model.
