Glock Folding Knife Steel: Move Over American 440C

Böhler N690Co steel is selected for the blade.  A martensitic, cobalt-alloyed N690 steel with good edge retention and exceptional corrosion resistance. It has almost superseded its ancestor, classic American 440C steel, which is very similar in composition but contains more molybdenum and cobalt. The blade measures 45 mm in length, is finely polished and achieves a hardness of 58-60 HRC. Sharp, precise and durable. Exactly what you would expect from Glock.

The handle is made of black anodised aluminium, which makes the knife not only very light (only 26 grams), but also robust and comfortable in the hand. The Pocket Knife is easy to open and locks securely – a small but well-thought-out tool for everyday use.

Despite its compact dimensions, it is not a toy, but a full-fledged utility knife that is just as suitable as a daily companion as a collector’s item. The simple, clean design with the GLOCK Precision branding.  As all things Glock it is minimalist, functional and high-quality.

The knife is manufactured in cooperation with an Italian knife manufacturer  based in the cradle of Italian cutlery. Maniago in Northern Italy is known as the “City of Knives”  and  has been producing outstanding cutlery since the Middle Ages.
