Glock 29 Gen 4
The Glock 29 Gen 4 in 10 mm auto delivers a serious level of stopping power for a subcompact pistol. In fact for any pistol! The ballistic characteristics of the 10mm auto are closer to those of a 41 magnum revolver than a 40 Smith. The Glock G29 Gen 4 provides gun owners with an unusual self-defense option that’s hard to find anywhere else.
The subcompact Glock will accept powerful and heavy bullet combination loads for defense against dangerous animals or can be “loaded down” with lightweight bullets for personal protection. Regardless of load choice, this pistol is dog reliable, more accurate than I am and comfortable to carry.
Gen 4 improvements
The Gen 4 tweaks work especially well for the G29 as let’s face it the 10mm auto is a serious caliber for any subcompact. The new grips and rough-textured surface of the Gen 4 make it surprisingly controllable and pleasant to shoot. For quite a while, some Glock owners had been getting custom texturing on their pistols to get what is now standard on Gen4 models
The Gen4 has two insert options, medium and large or you can leave the pistol as is, in small or what Glock refer to as  short frame configuration.
Magazine Release Catch
The enlarged mag release catch is now easily reversible to either the left or right side.
Gen 4 Magazine
The Gen4 Magazine now features a pair of notches that will allow positive operation with all types of existing mag catches.
Glock 29 Gen 4 Recoil Spring
The Glock G29 Gen 4 has a dual recoil spring system that features a progressive spring rate reducing felt perceived recoil.
