Description

The legendary Glock 43 9mm pistol with single stack magazine in caliber 9 x 19mm.

The G 43 ideal backup gun.

The Glock 43 is so easy to carry concealed.  It fits easily into a pocket or handbag.  The Glock 43 is seriously accurate and fits all size hands from petite to dinner plate. This is as a consequence of the grip having a built-in beavertail design. The result of which allows the shooter to acquire a high and tight grip.  In addition, the aggressive texture of the grip surface allows for maximum traction. Furthermore, the large magazine catch makes quick work of removing the six round magazine. Engineering is based on the same high standards that GLOCK is famous for.  The slimline G 43 tolerates the same torture tests all its bigger brothers in the GLOCK pistol family.

What Glock VP John Dorsey has to say:

John Dorsey Vice President of Glock Inc has this to say about the Glock 43:

“With the G43, I believe we’ve hit the ‘sweet spot.  It’s small, but not so small that you can’t handle it.  Its design means not a lot of recoil is transferred to the shooter.  We’ve replicated the trigger pull of the larger Glock models. Consequently, it’s got that familiar Glock balance that so many shooters favor.”

Guns and Ammo Magazine fired a 650 round test of the Glock 43.  Furthermore, the pistol was not lubricated or cleaned at any time. The very first 25 shots averaged three shooter’s five-shot groups from a 25-yard bench rest for accuracy at the beginning. Afterwards, the same was done at the end of the 650-round test fire.  Here’s what they have to say:

“At the range, the G43 was extremely accurate, with Eric Poole shooting an unexpected 1.89-inch best group at 25 yards — after the pistol had fired 625 rounds without incident. The G43 was a favourite among our “third man” participants (three full-time law enforcement officers) each indicating that they would soon own one.
The G43 performed consistently well, and G&A has no reservations in recommending this model for carry. Our only gripe would be the desire for a more than six-round-capacity magazine and steel sights to replace what Chris Mudgett jokingly refers to as the “Glock dovetail protectors.” No doubt the aftermarket will soon follow with some options.”

Glock 43 vs Glock 43X

A common question we are now being asked at The Glock Shop is: ” Has the 43X taken over from the Glock 43?” The answer is that the 43 is undoubtedly the finest deep conceal 9mm P semi-auto available. Sure the 43x has 10 rounds instead of 6. The downside is that it just makes it that much more difficult to carry and you can’t conceal that – no pun intended.
