The new OEM Glock 43X 15 Round Magazines – caliber 9 x 19mm – have now arrived in SA.  Designed by GLOCK Ges.m.b.H for Glock 43X & Glock 48 slimline range. These mags provide a 50% capacity increase over the standard 10-round mag.

Keep Your Standard Glock 43X Mag Release

Fabricated with an all-metal body the new mags function seamlessly with standard factory polymer magazine catches. The mag release your 43X comes with. Furthermore the magazine has capacity Indicators: the back of the magazine features numbered round count holes.

These new magazines demonstrate excellent reliability with flawless feeding and positive slide lock-back on the final round as well as easy drop free when released.

Does the new 15 round mag operate with the Shield mag release?

No, the new 15 round glock mag is designed to work with your original Glock factory polymer mag release. The Tyrant mag release does function properly however.

Magazine Loading:

Getting all 15 rounds in is relatively easy up to the 13th round, but you will likely need a magazine loader (or a table top !!) to comfortably seat the final two.

The new Glock 43X 15 round magazine has a recessed indent to locate the magazine release rather than a sharp cut-out like the 3rd party magazines around. This means that the standard polymer mag release does not get damaged by the new Glock design and functions smoothly.

Selected and expertly heat-treated steels form the spring. As a result spring tension lasts for years.  As a result of the accurately manufactured spring and follower,  the Glock Magazine feeds ammunition with total reliability.

Concealed Carry Impact

• Grip Length: The 15-round magazine features a slightly larger base plate that stands noticeably taller than the flush-fit 10-round version. While it conforms to the grip, the slightly extended length can result in marginally more printing under fitted clothing. 
• Aftermarket Accessories: Because of the taller base plate geometry, these may not be compatible with certain aftermarket magwells without modification.
