The highlight of our annual pilgrimage to SHOT in Las Vegas has been the release of the Glock performance trigger system.
Now don’t get excited and think your trusty G19Gen5 is going to be like shooting a STI/Staccato after the upgrade – it’s not.
The new trigger is an add-on and new Glocks are still going to have standard triggers when bought. We managed to get our hands on the new Glock 47 with a fitted performance trigger.
If you have ever spent time changing out the Glock factory connector to the 2kg lighter version and indulging your trigger bar to a spot of polishing after watching a few YouTube videos AND you’ve got it right – that is what The GLOCK Performance trigger feels like. It also has a flatter trigger face that has a better feel.
The break is noticeably crisper and the reset just seems more controlled.
A big advantage is that it is a Glock OEM product so it will not affect the warranty of your Glock pistol. It must be fitted by a Glock armourer, though.
